Veterans Wall of Honor

Amanda Keith, Class of 2006, had a vision to honor those within the Centennial School District who served in the United States' military. Amanda designed and created a Veterans' Wall of Honor at William Tennent High School to acknowledge the veterans who attended the district's high schools for at least two years, who graduated from the high schools or who worked within the district. With assistance from the administration and staff members within the Centennial School District, Amanda completed this project and the Veterans' Wall of Honor was dedicated on November 11, 2005. With the building of a new high school, this Veterans' Wall of Honor was rededicated on November 11, 2013.

Located at William Tennent High School and on the second floor of the auditorium's lobby, the Veterans' Wall of Honor contains a United States' flag which was flown over the U.S. Capitol building, plaques containing the names of those who served their country, and various photos and artwork related to the military.

The names on the pages that follow are individuals who are associated with the Upper Southampton-Warminster High School, the William Tennent High School or the Centennial School District. Each person, a relative or a close friend of theirs requested that the veteran's name be engraved onto the plaques in the Veterans' Wall of Honor.

The William Tennent Alumni Association (WTAA) extends an invitation to all attendees, graduates or workers within the district to submit their name for inclusion onto the Veterans' Wall of Honor. The WTAA may be contacted by emailing the WTAA at TennentAlumni@gmail.com.

The WTAA welcomes donations to help with the upkeep of the Veterans' Wall of Honor.

Name submission for Veterans Wall of Honor

Dear William Tennent Alumni,

William Tennent High School Alumni who have served in the Armed Forces may have their name added to the Veterans Wall of Honor at William Tennent High School. Any veteran who graduated from or attended William Tennent for at least two years can have their name added to the wall. Family members of a veteran can also request a name to be added. The deadline for names to be added for the current year is by the last day of August. Names added for the current year will be read at the Ceremony at WTHS on Veterans Day. If you would like your name to be added to the wall, please send the following information in an email to tennentalumni@gmail.com.
